Lovely bed and breakfast in a fantastic location and the breakfast was delicious.

Room was clean and water was nice and hot.It took a bit of finding but once there plenty of parking.No comfy chairs as room was not big enough, so had to lie on the bed to watch TV. Slept well both nights and breakfast was excellent. Quiet location. It would have been nice to have been able to use a tv lounge in the main house to relax in. Roads to the B & B rather narrow and better signage on the house would be good as it was difficult to find

Room was to a very good standard and very comfortable. The location was great and we had a nice view of the countryside. The breakfast was excellent. David, the owner, was very friendly and made us very welcome.  This is more of an observation, than a negative. Brambles Bed and Breakfast is located in a very small Devon hamlet, so it can be difficult to find. I would suggest that the sign was made larger. If coming from Sampford Peverell, drive through the hamlet and look out for Whitnage Cottage, past the farm on the left. If coming from Uplowman, as you enter the hamlet, Whitnage Cottage is on the right. It is a white building and runs beside the road. This is Brambles Bed and Breakfast. I hope this helps when finding the Brambles, it is worth it!!

Great value for money. Lovely room, tidy, clean & with good facilities. Close enough to Tiverton (assuming that you drive) to make a good base for exploring the area.

Room, fittings, food, welcome, view, all good. Extremely difficult to find, especially in the dark. The only clue was a six inch long sign hidden on the side of the property. Access to the car park should be widened: even another six inches would help a lot. No light outside the property also hid completely the entrance to the track - which did have a label, announcing itself to be a public footpath!

We couldn't have been happier with this accommodation. It IS a bit out of the way, but I found it without any problems by following the instructions sent within the confirmation email. Don’t know if satnav would put you outside the front door, because my car does not have it! The proprietor, Dave, was very friendly, talkative and helpful. It was warm with a friendly atmosphere, clean rooms and very comfortable. We were in the main dwelling but still felt very private with our own bathroom just next door. The four-poster bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and clean. Plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate, horlicks and a few biscuits provided. We had an excellent full English breakfast which was very tasty indeed. For the money, you wouldn’t find a better value place to stay.I would recommend to anybody.

Very nice staff, good breakfast, beautiful view from property, good value. The rooms are in an annex in the rear of the house. A bit difficult to find (which is probably typical of countryside accommodation), it was a bit chilly in the room.

The food was good and room excellent. Dave the owner was so helpful and was very welcoming to this lovely place.We will be going back again in the near future that’s for sure.
