Exit the M5 at Junction 27 onto the A361. Keep to the left hand lane before leaving the A361 at the exit signposted Sampford Peverell (also Holbrook Lane), which is less than half a mile. Turn left at the mini roundabout located at the top of the slip road and continue for a half a mile into the village before taking the first turning on the right onto Whitnage Road.  Continue for half a mile, over the humped back canal bridge, through the tunnel under the A361 and (ignoring the farm entrance on your left and the barn conversion on the right) continue on before turning left at the junction signposted Whitnage (Hill Kiln), NOT straight on towards Westleigh. Continue on for half a mile to the T Junction at the top of the lane. You are now in Whitnage. Turn left again and continue on for a further 200 yards, past Whitnage Chart, Shapcote, and the farm entrance on the left. Whitnage Cottage is the next property on the left. If you go past the red bricked former Methodist chapel on the right and Little Whitnage Cottage on the left, you have gone too far. The parking area is located to the rear of the property, reached via the access lane to the left of the garage. Please note we only have a small Whitnage Cottage & Brambles sign.
