Room was to a very good standard and very comfortable. The location was great and we had a nice view of the countryside. The breakfast was excellent. David, the owner, was very friendly and made us very welcome.  This is more of an observation, than a negative. Brambles Bed and Breakfast is located in a very small Devon hamlet, so it can be difficult to find. I would suggest that the sign was made larger. If coming from Sampford Peverell, drive through the hamlet and look out for Whitnage Cottage, past the farm on the left. If coming from Uplowman, as you enter the hamlet, Whitnage Cottage is on the right. It is a white building and runs beside the road. This is Brambles Bed and Breakfast. I hope this helps when finding the Brambles, it is worth it!!

Glorious Devon. Brambles was not what I expected. It was much better! Deep in rural Devon, good food nearby in the local (highly recommended) pub. Room was very comfortable and separate from the main house giving privacy to guests.
