Very friendly service and nice little extra touches made for a very pleasant stay

Very nice staff, good breakfast, beautiful view from property, good value. The rooms are in an annex in the rear of the house. A bit difficult to find (which is probably typical of countryside accommodation), it was a bit chilly in the room.

The food was good and room excellent. Dave the owner was so helpful and was very welcoming to this lovely place.We will be going back again in the near future that’s for sure.

Excellent accommodation - home from home! We stayed on Boxing Day evening as we visited relatives over Christmas. David was an excellent host and not phased when we turned up earlier than our scheduled arrival time. The room was very clean and warm with interesting features. The high ceilings made it seem luxurious!

Friendly welcome, lovely well-prepared room, quiet and comfortable sleep, great breakfast. The lot really, splendid!

Very good stay. Room was excellent though it was a bit hard to find in the middle of nowhere but I would stay again if I find myself in the area the room was really nice and comfortable the views were lovely the breakfast was excellent and the owner was very pleasant.

Glorious Devon. Brambles was not what I expected. It was much better! Deep in rural Devon, good food nearby in the local (highly recommended) pub. Room was very comfortable and separate from the main house giving privacy to guests.

Ticked all the boxes. A quiet warm and comfortable room and a lovely breakfast on our journey westwards. A lovely hot bath and peaceful surroundings. Good instructions from the M5 even in the dark!

Lovely homely room, and warm! Booked room only as I needed an early start. Seemed unaffected by the recent huge flooding problems locally It's address is in the book in case I need accommodation in the future in this area.
