Friendly, quiet and comfortable. The directions we were sent as part of our booking were very clear and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived (right from the point of tentatively pulling up outside not quite believing we'd got to the right place, first time!). The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. We had plenty of tea/coffee making equipment and biscuits and helpful information on the area. Free Wifi too which made choosing a local pub for dinner very easy. Breakfast was tasty and served in a very friendly way. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, but not too over the top about it. We felt we could come and go as we pleased, but were always welcome and they were available if needed.

Loved the friendliness of our host. We had a beautiful bedroom, with superb view. It is so peaceful with a good village pub a short walk away. Good breakfast.  We missed mugs for toothbrushes in the bathroom.

Very friendly, helpful owner. Comfortable, clean and warm accommodation. Everything you need for a short break. Nice little touches to make you feel at home. Would recommend to anyone looking for home from home comfort.

Privacy and comfort. It was very difficult to find with a very poor drive on access, also there is not a board outside the property indicating it was Brambles Bed & Breakfast. We found this very annoying and considered cancelling the booking. It was raining heavily and we got very wet knocking the doors of other homes to find out it's location. Only one householder knew, out of the 5 that we called upon which speaks for itself. This aspect spoilt our visit and our day completely and caused personal problems between us. I fail to understand, being a businessman, why a business would not want to advertise itself, unless it's out of ignorance.

Lovely place to stay. We stayed at Brambles for just one night, and had a room in the main building (there is an annex with other rooms in too - can't comment on these). The room had a private bathroom next door, and was clean and comfortable. Our host was very welcoming and friendly, and we had a very lovely breakfast - particularly good because we could choose from a range of options, so we only got what we wanted. The room was decorated in quite a 'chintzy' way, which was fitting to the house, but not quite our taste...not exactly a major complaint though!

Welcoming & comfortable. Stayed one night on way home from a cycling holiday in Brittany. David stayed up specially to welcome me at 10.15pm & locked my bike in his garage. Lovely room with 4poster bed & private bathroom with a bath,great! Chatted to other guests & David over breakfast.

Most comfortable and good value for money. Owner very friendly & welcoming. Would certainly stay here again if I was in area.
